St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church spearheaded the opening of the new
Ten Thousand Villages fair trade store on Main Street in Picton. An initial "Festival Sale" was held pre-Christmas 2008 with great success. In 16 days $38,500 worth of merchandise was sold.
We are grateful to the team of volunteers from throughout the wider Prince Edward County community that joined our effort. The store will open permanently in May at 190 Main Street. |
